The exciting annual Ohio Challenge is just around the corner! The 13th annual show, July 10-12, boasts an array of action-packed events, including the famed Team Fastrax Skydiving performance and mass balloon launch! The show has things for everyone in the family to enjoy! Kids can enjoy corn hole, carnival rides, and car shows while mom and dad enjoy the live music (different groups both Friday and Saturday). The celebration will be packed with food and arts & crafts vendors, ensuring not a dull moment! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all have their own special features. Friday offers a night laser light show and pyro music while Saturday presents a fireworks extravaganza! Sunday, the morning only day, brings up the rear with a thrilling bike race! Since Saturday lasts the entire day, it also includes a delicious morning pancake feast! All three days are full of different spectacles, so check out this schedule to see which day interests you and your family the most!
As always, the Ohio Challenge takes place at Smith Park near the Middletown Regional Airport. The admission for the festival varies depending on time and day. Children under 13 are free the entire weekend, and anyone older is considered an adult. Admission for the morning part on Saturday and Sunday is free. The evening portion on Friday and Saturday is $4 walk in admission, although that is not the only option. People paying for parking ($10) and taking the free shuttle will get into the show free, along with anyone else in the vehicle. People can also choose to upgrade to onsite parking ($20 w/ admission included). Visit the Ohio Challenge website for more info!
