Rotary Park Playground ribbon cutting is this Friday, April 19th! This new playground was made possible from a Nature Works grant, Beavercreek Township and the City of Beavercreek.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) approved more than $4.4 million in project funding through the NatureWorks grant program, which will be used to improve outdoor recreational opportunities for Ohioans across the state.
Beavercreek Township and the City of Beavercreek invites you to the official Rotary Park Playground Ribbon Cutting is happening April 19, from 4:00- 4:30 pm. The upgrades to the park include all new sidewalks to help with accessibility to the playground, parking lot, shelter and restrooms, drainage and of course, the awesome new playground!
The open play design of the playground is best suited for ages 5-12.
The playground features, slides, rope climbing, swings and more that make the beautiful spring and summer weather in Dayton that much more enjoyable! Added bonus: Rotary Park Playground also has a large picnic shelter adjacent to the playground which can be reserved for parties and picnics by calling or dropping by the Parks Department Office, 937-426-5100.
