Getting the kids to eat healthy is a constant battle. One of my favorite things to do is make a snack area – stocked with several healthy choices. This is their Go-To place after school and before bed.
To make your own pick a container:
• Basket or bin on the counter or table
• Pocket Organizer
• Smaller bins in a kitchen drawer
Fill it with healthy choices:
Individual servings of: pretzels, crackers, cereal, fruit cups, applesauce, cereal bars, trail mix, fruit leather, nuts, dried fruit, popcorn, etc.
Keep a snack bin in the frig too!
Individual servings of hummus, pudding, yogurt, veggies, fruit, cottage cheese, cheese sticks, etc.
