The NEW Dayton Metro Library in Downtown Dayton

It’s finally time for the Big Reveal! The NEW Dayton Metro Library in downtown Dayton opens its doors to the public on Saturday, August 5.

Everyone is invited to the Grand Opening and Community Celebration! Come see your extensively remodeled, expanded Main Library, located at 215 E. Third Street.

The Community Celebration includes a Street Festival with Chalk Artist Ben Blue, Balloon Sculptures by Cre8tive, Face Painters from the School of Advertising Art, the Library Bookmobile, Food Trucks and more! An amazing, block-long Ribbon Cutting Ceremony makes it official, then the Library doors will open to a wide variety of entertainment, demonstrations, activities for children, Library mascots Cosmo &Pip, and surprises!
