Natural curiosity makes children eager learners about the world around them. This curiosity is the basis for many free STEM-related activities offered at the Dayton Metro Library this summer.
The Library’s Summer Challenge offers FREE hands-on experiences to keep kids engaged in learning during the summer months. This summer, with the theme, Build A BetterWorld, there are lots of activities focusing on wildlife, the environment, and science.
“Kids can experience hands-on learning with experts from Five Rivers MetroParks, the OSU Extension Office and The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery,” said Joanna Rocheleau, Children’s Services Librarian at the Electra C. Doren Branch Library. “These programs are not only fun and educational, they’re free!”
