Sugarplum Festival of Trees
The Sugarplum Festival of Trees is an annual holiday extravaganza that kicks off the holiday season for the Miami Valley. Please join the more than 350 TWIG volunteers that have worked year-round to make this spectacular holiday event possible. There will be a gala, Ladies Luncheon and Breakfast with Santa as well as beautifully decorated Christmas trees available at auction with all proceeds to benefit the Dayton Children’s Hospital.

JOHN TARTAGLIA’S IMAGINOCEAN
A one-of-a-kind live black-light puppet show, JOHN TARTAGLIA’S IMAGINOCEAN is a magical undersea adventure for kids of all ages. Tank, Bubbles and Dorsel are three best friends who just happen to be fish, and they’re about to set out on a remarkable journey of discovery. And it all starts with a treasure map. As they swim off in search of clues, they’ll sing, they’ll dance, and they’ll make new friends, including everyone in the audience. Ultimately they discover the greatest treasure of all: friendship. Jam-packed with music ranging from swing to R&B to big band, JOHN TARTAGLIA’S IMAGINOCEAN is a blast from the first big splash to the last wave goodbye. The Beach Mountain
During the summer months, it is known as The Beach but now during the winter it has a new name. Come experience The Beach Mountain for winter fun! Bring the family snow tubing and experience an exciting wintertime activity that brings people together and creates memories. It is just like sledding – only it’s faster and more accessible. Slide down the snowy 400 foot long run and then conveniently ride the magical moving carpet back up. Family members of all ages will enjoy the thrill of sliding down our run. It’s a fast and easy winter fun that requires neither experience nor special, expensive equipment and clothing. In addition to having a safe venue with safe equipment, trained staff members supervise the run and provide information for a safe ride. Feast of Giving
The Feast of Giving is a Thanksgiving dinner including turkey with all the trimmings that will be provided for free not only for those in financial need or those with no one else to spend the holiday with but for all. All are welcome to this beautiful event that puts our city’s charitable nature in the spotlight. With over 8000 meals to be served and 500 volunteers, this is a huge event that Dayton can be proud of. No tickets are needed and RTA will be providing free bus rides to and from the event from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.

A Special Wish 5K Run
The mission of A Special Wish Foundation is to grant the wish of a child or adolescent (birth through age 20) who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disorder. The 2nd annual 5K Run/Walk plus Kids Fun Run and Stroller Roll will support this great cause. The Dayton Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation serves Montgomery, Greene, Miami, Darke, Shelby, and Mercer counties.
