It’s back and better than ever – the third annual Family Adventure Day sponsored by Heartland Health Care Centers! Come out on April 27th for an unforgettable family event. This year, there’s something for every member of the family!
Soar through the air on a zip line, take aim with a bow and arrow, climb our rock wall, or maneuver a bike through an obstacle course with Mike’s Indoor Bike Park. Also, be sure to check out the newest adventure: Ninjobstacles. This new ninja warrior gym will be on site for families to try out a few obstacles and catch some parkour demonstrations.

If you’re ready for more adventure, Wright State University’s Outdoor Resource Center will be on site for kayaking in the pool. This is a perfect chance to try out the sport in a fun and safe environment before tackling the Great Miami River and beyond. Make sure to refuel by stopping by the Underdogs food truck to grab some of their famous tater tots and other tasty snacks.

Babysitting
No one gets left behind at Family Adventure Day! Our trained youth care staff will be on hand to entertain children three and older while their parents and older siblings explore activities. Children two and younger can enjoy the play space, too, if accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Furry Friends
Finally, when we said there’s something for the entire family, we truly meant it. This year, our event will be dog friendly! We’ve partnered with Wagtown®to create an outdoor space that’s welcoming to your furry friends while helping to spread the word about the many benefits of a dog-friendly community. We’ll even have pooch parking so you can leave your pup with trained and loving volunteers while you head inside for activities.
