Want the experience of camp this summer, but from the comfort of your own home? Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is excited to introduce Camp in a Box!
This all-new camp includes a daily challenge, experiment, or an item to make, and the option of live instruction with the opportunity to explore and learn with your fellow campers in our virtual classrooms.
Participate in field trips, behind the scenes experiences, and so much more! Most importantly, your box is mindfully put together by our education team, filled with all the things you need for camp, and delivered right to your doorstep or available for pick-up at the Museum!
Camp in a Box has several exciting themes:
- Mad Scientist (ages 6-7)
- Wizard STEM (ages 6-7)
- Backyard Astronomer (ages 8-12)
- Boonshoft Time Machine (ages 8-12)
- Chemistry Camp (ages 8-12)
- Emerging Engineers (ages 8-12)
- Outdoor Explorer (ages 8-12)
Each Camp in a Box program has two options to choose from:
Basic – this kit features all the materials and written directions your child will need to complete a variety of exciting STEM based activities for one week.
Digital – this option includes everything from the basic kit, as well as daily log in times to have live interactions with our STEM educators and content experts, while engaging with other campers enrolled in the same camp.
