Spooky Spectacular Dayton 2019
When: Friday, October 4, 5-10 pm, Location: Yellow Cab Tavern
Join us for Downtown Dayton’s October First Friday as we kick off the start of the Halloween season! Over 35 artisan vendors peddling spooky delights, Swag bags for the first 25 purchasers featuring goodies from our vendors, Zombie Dogz food truck, Raffle prizes from vendor donations and local businesses, the proceeds of which go to Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum!Our event is all-ages, however please be advised that some content might not be suitable for younger patrons. Cost: Free
Halloween Howl: Fun for Little Ones!
When: Saturday, October 12, 10 am- Noon Location: Kettering Recreation Complex
Enjoy a morning of Halloween fun for preschoolers ages 2 – 6 and their families. The morning will include games, crafts, inflatables and much more. It’s sure to be a fun, alternative way to celebrate Halloween! Costumes are optional. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fee: $5 per family at the door. No preregistration is required.
Boo n’ Brew- Mall at Fairfield
When: Saturday, October, 12, 2:00- 6:00 pm, Location: The Mall at Fairfield Commons
Come celebrate all things Halloween with us at our Boo ‘n Brew festival! The event will feature live entertainment from Spungewurthy, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and so much more! Kids can enjoy FREE activities in our Kids Zone sponsored by Aqua-Tots Swim Schools. Fun activities will include bounce houses and an obstacle course, face painting, pumpkin painting and games. Cost: Free.
Hocus Pocus Family Fun Halloween Festival
When: Sunday, October 13, 1 pm- Dusk, Location: Downtown Middletown
Hocus Pocus Halloween is putting a spell on you and is back for its 4th year of free, family fun! Come run “amuck, amuck, amuck” with us in downtown Middletown on Sunday, October 13th as we host THE family fun festival of the season!
3rd Annual McAfee Truck-or-Treat Event!

A free event for kids that promises fun for the whole family! Enjoy treats from a ton of trucks you’re used to seeing: the McAfee Heating and Air fleet, Kettering Police and Fire Departments, Montgomery County Sheriffs Department, the Dayton Library Book Mobile, RTA, and so many more!!! Say “hello” to Rudy from UD, and enjoy special treats from Bill’s Donuts, Dairy Queen, and many more! Take a run on the obstacle course provided by the Ohio National Guard of Kettering! Food will be available for purchase.
Fall Festival of Fun
When: Saturday, October 19, 5-9 pm Location: Vandalia Recreation Center
Join us for fall fun with the family at the Vandalia Recreation Center! Enjoy the Climbing Wall, Ricky’s Tiny Tikes, Luther’s Jungle, open gym play, games, and pumpkin decorating. The fun doesn’t stop there; a hayride around the Sports Complex will take you to a campfire to make s’mores. Hayrides start at 6:00pm and end at 8:30pm. Fees: $10 per family (up to 5 people), $3 per person after 5 people.
Trunk or Treat The Heights YMCA
When: Sunday, October 20, 6:00- 8:00 pm, Location: The Y at The Heights, 7251 Shull Rd, Huber Heights, Ohio 45424
Get lots of treat as you trick or treat from car to car in the parking lot. We will have costume contest for children infant to 12 years of age. Food, drinks, music will be in the Huber Heights YMCA. We will also be giving out prizes for the best-decorated vehicles come out and have a spooky time.
Pumpkin Party
When: October 23, Noon-7 pm, Location: Austin Landing
It’s our favorite time of the year at Austin Landing and we have decided to celebrate with our annual Pumpkin Party brought to you by our friends at Kettering Physician Network! Whip out your favorite boots and scarfs, grab a pumpkin spice latte or hot cocoa and head over for some fun at Austin Landing for a night of Pumpkins in The Park!
Trick or Treat Event for Kids with Special Needs

Our second annual Trick or Treat Event is open to all special needs kids/teens/adults and their families in our community who want to enjoy trick or treating or get some practice in before the main event in a fun and accepting environment! Come dressed up or as your are! We will have bags to collect your goodies, doors to knock on, and lots of candy (and small toys!) to pass out!

KidX Candy Crawl sponsored by Inspire Center for Learning
When: Friday, October 25, 10 am-Noon, Location: The Mall at Fairfield Commons
They will be giving out Trick-or-Treat Bags (while supplies last) so the kids can go store-to-store Trick-or-Treating. Bring the whole family and come dressed to impress as we will have a family costume contest. We will have plenty of games, prizes and soo much more!
Trunk or Treat West Carrollton YMCA
When: Friday, October 25, 6:00- 7:30 pm, Location: 900 S Alex Rd, West Carrollton City, Ohio 45449
We will have a trunk or treating in the parking lot and our haunted bus. We are always looking for volunteers and families who will help pass out candy in the parking lot.
Trunk or Treat 2019!
When: October 25, 6:30-8:30 pm, Location: Goldfish Swim School – Dayton
Join them on Friday October 25th from 6-8pm for a ton of candy, prizes, and FUN! We will have local businesses and our awesome teachers/staff passing out candy and prizes. So come out in your best costumes and be ready for a Fin-tastic Time!

Halloween in the Park
When: Saturday, October, 26, 3-6 pm, Location: Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District
A new twist on an old tradition and fun for the whole family! Come and walk the “Trail of Tricks and Treats”; local groups and businesses will have activity booths for you to discover on the winding trail through the Gooding Addition. The first 300 kids will receive a ticket to the pumpkin patch where they can search for the perfect pumpkin to decorate at our decorating station on the patio. Come inside to listen to spooky tales by the Winters Library. Enjoy complimentary games, crafts, witch’s brew and fall family fun! Cost: Free.

Trunk or Treat Preble County YMCA

Trunk or Treat is Back! Join them for this great outdoor event complete with a costume contest, games, trick or treating and more!
2019 Burkhardt Trunk or Treat
When: Saturday, October 26 at 2- 4 pm, Location: Stepping Stones, 215 Burkhardt Avenue
Come on out and join our family as we put on a fun-filled event for kids to experience trick or treating in an alcohol and drug-free environment. Area businesses set up tables and decorate cars and bikes for the kids to enjoy!
Trunk or Treat!

Come out in your best costume with your family for a night of fun and make some memories! What’s going to be happening at this event? First, you’ll get to trunk or treat your way through our parking lot. After that, you can hang around for some games, eat some hot dogs and chili, take a fun photo at our photo booth, and more! Its going to be a B-L-A-S-T!
Community Trunk-or-Treat

Come join our Community Trunk or Treat! Inside and outside! Come park your car and pass out candy! Please let us know if you can set up a Trunk. Call 252-7840 to reserve a free parking space. Our past Trunk or treats have had over 200 kids!

This fun, FREE event for the whole family was enjoyed by almost 10,000 guests to Grafton Hill! We need your help to put on this amazing display!
