The smell of cotton candy and funnel cakes is in the air as we approach fair season. Instead of just visiting your county fair, why not take a trip to the surrounding counties to see what they have to offer. Below is a full list of county fairs surrounding Dayton.

Some come for the food, some come for the rides, but at the Ohio State Fair everyone comes for the good times and the memories they make with their families. With a combo of agriculture, deep fried everything, and the carnival rides, your family is sure to get in some end of the summer fun.

While the Montgomery County Fairgrounds continues to recognize the contributions of agriculture and provide a lasting green space for the enjoyment of all residents of the County and the City of Dayton, one of the fairgrounds’ neighbors has its roots in farming as well.

$25 per person. These tickets offer unlimited admission throughout the week of the Warren County Fair. Tickets are available in the WCAS/ Sr. Fair Office.

Be sure to come out and join in on the fun this year at the Butler County Fair. There will be admissions to a whirlwind of fun to attractions such as tractor pulls, Rolling Stone Rodeo, World’s Greatest Cowboy & Cowgirl, etc.

Jr. Fair Booster – $35.00 for seven (7) daily passes Includes name in following year’s fairbook and also on a sign at the fair
Jr. Fair Pass – for seven (7) daily passes Available to all Jr. Fair exhibitor’s entered in 4-H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts or FFA
MCAS Membership – $25.00 Must be 18 years of age and reside in Miami County Includes voting privileges at the annual election
The Shelby County Fair Board invites you and your family to join us for the 156th Annual Shelby County Fair, located right here in Sidney, Ohio. This year’s fair will be held the week of Sunday, July 24th through Saturday, July 30th, 2016. The preparation for year’s fair is in full swing. They have a lot in store for everyone at this year’s Shelby County Fair; domestic and livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, amusement rides, a demolition derby, a tractor pull, local band performances, cheerleading competitions, harness racing, crafts, a horseshoe pitching contest, delicious food and of course, a week full of entertainment!
