As an Associate Publisher of a parenting magazine, I can’t think of a better cause then our very own local Ronald McDonald House. Hopefully you have never needed their services but for those that do it is an incredible organization for local families. This is also an awesome outlet for volunteer possibilities. Please consider supporting this great organization if you are able.

NEW “HOME” FOR A GOLF OUTING BENEFITING OUR COMMUNITY’S “HOUSE”

The Ronald McDonald House of Dayton Golf Classic finds a new home at NCR Country Club

Dayton, OH – July 17, 2014: Registration is open for the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton’s 18th Annual Golf Classic, which will take place Monday, August 4 at NCR Country Club, located at 4435 Dogwood Trail, Kettering, OH 45429. Formerly, this event was held at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace.

This is one of the region’s largest and most popular golf outings with proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton and its mission to provide a home-away-from-home to families of hospitalized babies and children. In 2013, the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton supported 400 overnight guest families and an additional 550 day guests. House amenities include bedrooms with private baths, a spacious kitchen, a large dining room, a playroom, a family room, a laundry room and a library.

“After 17 successful years at Yankee Trace, the planning committee felt it was time to shake the event up a bit and take it to a new location,” said Rita M. Cyr, Chief Executive Officer of the Dayton House. “We are thrilled to offer our golfers the opportunity to play this historic golf course and know that our players will not be disappointed.”

Each registered player will enjoy a fantastic day of golf, followed by a delicious dinner banquet, an impressive live and silent auction, unique raffle prizes and much more.
