Warm weather and farmers markets are back and that means picking season is among us! These 8 places all have more to offer than just picking out the freshest seasonal fruits. Take a peek at fresh jams, pies, maybe see some farm animals hanging around!

You will be greeted by a team member who will provide you with picking containers for a small fee (or you can bring your own!) and direct you to your own rows for the best picking. There is nothing quite like heading to our fields or orchards early in the day and gathering what nature and our own hard toil have prepared. In mid to late June, look for the chance to pick delicious, juicy blueberries! The month of July provides the opportunity to pick gooseberries, raspberries, and early apples, to name a few! In August, they always look forward to grapes, peaches, and still… more apples! There will be no strawberries for the 2019 season but will have them ready in 2020. Address: 5474 N. Come on out and bring your children or your grandchildren to the farm for a fun filled day of experiencing life in the country, seeing how your food is grown, nibbling while you pick, and taking home lots of yummy, healthy fruit. We do our best to make picking fruit an easy and enjoyable experience for your whole family. Strawberries: We expect strawberries to be ripe around June 1st. The season will last approximately three weeks. Black Raspberries: Black Raspberries may ripe as early as mid-June. The season for black raspberries is quite short-only two to three weeks long. 8am-8pm daily seven days a week. Picking containers provided at no charge. No appointments necessary. Damily-run farm located in Xenia, OH. Come out to the farm to pick your own blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Season generally starts with blueberries around July 4th. They provide buckets and bags for picking. Berries are priced per pound and we will weigh them at the end after you pick. Season starts, June 1st. You’ll find year -round fun here! The third generation began growing strawberries, tart cherries, peaches, pumpkins, and vegetables.
