Over 120 Booth Spaces are Available for Arts and Craft Vendors

Time for summer festivals in Dayton.  From festival food to fair rides to celebrating the amazing heritages that makeup Dayton, It wouldn’t be the warm-weather season without a smattering of festivals, feasts, and fairs. 

Here’s a roundup of our favorite festivals in Dayton Summer Festivals on deck for 2018!

 

Farm Babies Fest

What is it? Enjoy hands-on demonstrations and exhibits, homespun farm crafts, 50/50 raffle, delicious food and baby farm animals! Savor local, delicious meats from the farm at Aullwood’s food booth including bratwurst and barbecue pork. Indulge in a wide variety of treats including sugar waffles, kettle corn, brick oven pizza, lemon shake-ups and goodies from the bake sale booth.

St. Brigid Parish Festival 

What is it? Festival food, rides, kids games, bingo, live music and more!

A World A’Fair Dayton International Festival

What is it? Enjoy 32 countries. ethnicities of their food, dancing, music and more! But in the background our mission is education.   They hope visitors come away not only well-entertained and well-fed but also better-educated.

Miamisburg Spring Fling Festival 

What is it? The Festival consists of: The Parade, Arts and Crafts Booths, Commercial and Community Booths, along with Children’s Activities and a Carnival. Over 20 Food concessions for a taste of “Fair Food.” Free music and entertainment all weekend.

Feast of the Flowering Moon Festival

What is it? The Feast of the Flowering Moon is a four-day festival that offers plenty of family-friendly entertainment for residents and visitors to Chillicothe, Ohio. The festival features Native American music and dancing, crafters and exhibits, commercial exhibits and more!

Furry Fest & Furry Skurry 5k 

What is it? 5k, pancake breakfast, pet contests, beer garden, food truck rally, kids play zone, live & local music and much more!

Patriot Freedom Festival

What is it? Live Entertainment, children’s activities, food, crafts, petting zoo, barrel rides and more family fun!

Cost: Free!
Location: Dayton VA Medical Center
Date/Time: May 26-27, 11:00 am- 6:00 pm

 

Dayton Heritage Festival at Carillon Park

What is it? is a Memorial Day weekend to remember with an old-fashioned patriotic celebration! Explore exhibits and buildings while participating in hands-on historical activities like musket firing and candle dipping. The day ends with a patriotic concert on the Town Greene by the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra

Troy Strawberry Festival 

What is it? The Festival is more than just a weekend of fun. It serves as a major fund-raising event for many of the area’s civic and charitable groups. Berry Special Olympics, children’s parade, arts, crafts, games, food and more!

Banana Split Festival 

What is it?  This festival features good old-fashioned fun with games and rides for everyone, crafts and collectibles, live music, a classic car cruise-in and car show, unique food booths, a banana split eating contest and of course the “make your own” banana split booth.

Summer Arts Festival 

What is it? Shortly after sunrise, from mid-June through mid-July, rows of lawn chairs begin appearing between the limestone cliffs of Veterans Park. It’s the time-honored method for reserving a prime spot for a great evening of entertainment!

Yellow Springs Street Fair 

What is it? A day of hoopla with over 200 arts, crafts and food vendors, two music stages, beer garden and street performers throughout.

Lebanon Country Music Festival

What is it?  Community event offering shopping, Artisan Crafts, food and Country Music held in downtown Lebanon.

Jewish Cultural Festival 

What is it? Both Jewish and non-Jewish –are invited to share our traditions and learn about us and our faith. Entertainment showcases great music and dance, featuring folk, rock and roll, klezmer, Israeli, Broadway music of Jewish songwriters and performers, and even Israeli folk dancing.  Kids of all ages will also have a chance to climb the (inflatable) Mt. Masada, and flaunt their creativity with other crafts and activities.

Celtic Fest Ohio

What is it? Enjoy a wide variety of foods from Irish and Scottish to traditional American fare. Experience music, dance, arts, crafts, foods, beverages, traditions and heritages of the Celtic culture in a unique village setting.

Summer Solstice Lavender Festival

What is it? Come join us for a weekend of making memories, connecting to nature, and of course, All things lavender! As we pull it back in, our goal is to maintain the integrity of a small lavender farm festival, not bigger or better. We enjoy the deeper connected and more opportunities for lasting memories for our events.

SpiritSong 2017 at Kings Island

What is it? What do you get when you take the top Christian artist and speakers in the world and mix them with the coolest theme park in the world? SPIRITSONG!! You don’t want to miss this amazing festival.

Bark in the Burg at Community Park

What is it? This event is “A Festival for Dogs and the People They Own.” This “day for the dogs” will highlight businesses and organizations specializing in pet health and wellness services, veterinary services, security, pet memorials, nutrition, grooming, training, pet photos and supplies.

Dayton Air Show

What is it?  This is your chance to get up close and personal with the aircraft and pilots! Get your tickets early to see the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and so much more.

Rail Festival at Carillon Park

What is it? Carillon Historical Park’s Rail Festival is a two-day family fun event featuring free miniature train rides, live steam engines, model train displays, historical displays, train merchandise, rail vendors, and much more.

Treasure Island River Fest

What is it? Join us for a whole day of activities at Treasure Island Park. We’ll have live music, local brews, food trucks, s.u.p.yoga, an awards ceremony, fun activities and more!

Sliders, Sides & Suds Festival

What is it? Back for the second season – our Sliders, Sides & Suds Fest is all about tasty food and live rocking’ music! In partnership with the Miami Valley Restaurant Association, this event is sure to offer plenty of mouth-watering flavor

City of Dayton Lights in Flight Fireworks Festival 2017 !

What is it? Come celebrate Independence Day with our multi-cultural festival. Food, fun and live entertainment for the whole family. Fireworks start at 10 pm.

Clinton County Fair

What is it? Enjoy eight days of action in July with live entertainment, harness racing, an antique tractor pull and a demolition derby.

Logan County Fair

The Montgomery County Fair

What is it? The Montgomery County Fair is a great tradition and event that brings together our county’s communities and especially families.

Warren County Fair

What is it?  Fun, food, games, rides, demo derby, tractor pulls, live harness racing, livestock shows and sales, barnyard display, jungle island zoo animals, pony rides, musical groups, corn hole tournament, talent show, karaoke, and parade with hot air balloons. Plus we are introducing a new event this year: Tug-a-Truck!

Cost: Daily admission is $5 Monday, $8 Tuesday through Saturday, and as always kids 8 and under are FREE!

Clark County Fair

What is it? Great entertainment includes a tiger show, pork chop revue, and chainsaw artists. Bands in the big tent every night plus several afternoon concerts. Tractor pulls, truck pulls, truck tugs, demolition derby all at the grandstand plus the Kiddy Pig Chase and the pig and calf scrambles. Four new rides on the midway. Bring the whole family and enjoy the fair.

Butler County Fair 

What is it? Come join the fun at their annual fair!

Shelby County Fair

What is it?  Theyhave a lot in store for everyone at this year’s Shelby County Fair; domestic and livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, amusement rides, a demolition derby, a tractor pull, local band performances, cheerleading competitions, harness racing, crafts, a horseshoe pitching contest, delicious food and of course, a week full of entertaiment!

Miami County Fair

What is it? Rides, games, food and more family fun for you to enjoy!

Germanfest Picnic 2017

What is it? The purpose of the Dayton Liederkranz Turner shall be the cultivation, promotion, furtherance, education, and maintenance of German song, dance, customs, culture, heritage, traditions, genealogy, and language, and participation in community and civic affairs.

Art on the Commons 2017

What is it? Come shop for fine arts and crafts by 100 talented artists from around the country. Works include jewelry, ceramics, paintings, photography, metals, watercolor, sculpture, glass, fibers and wood creations. We’ll also have live entertainment and tasty concessions.

The Lebanese Festival

What is it? The festival features Middle Eastern dancing and entertainment, cultural displays, crafts booths, amusement rides and games for all ages.
