Summer signals a time of exploration and adventure for little ones! Dayton has so many great museums, parks and playgrounds for kids to explore and now we have the Aqua Adventures Waterpark at Land of Illusion!
Aqua Adventures is an experience unlike any other that you will find in the Dayton area! Featuring waterslides, inflatable obstacles, volleyball, horseshoes, a full bar, a sand beach on a reservoir and what it bills as Southwest Ohio’s only Wibit obstacle course for children and adults alike.
The Wibit obstacle course (pictured above) is amazing! There are so many different elements to include slides, trampolines, rock walls, monkey bars and MORE! We found that the obstacle course in the larger reservoir was perfect for ages 6 and up! NEW THIS YEAR, the Land of Illusion team has added a second Wibit obstacle course specifically for children under 42″! This was such a great addition and a much calmer experience for little ones that may not have as good of footing as the older kids zipping passed them!
Aqua Adventures is truly a great place to spend your whole day! We couldn’t believe how quickly the time passed because of how much fun we were having. Not to mention the park has great food, snacks and Kona Ice to cool down with (and other adult friendly iced drinks as well)! 🙂 Beach chairs and umbrellas line the sandy beaches. If you close your eyes, you just may forget that you are in Dayton, Ohio and not in sunny Florida!
