Dayton Parent has a list of book stores in the area that are celebrating the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Parts I & II this weekend! With five locations for you to hangout with other fans of the series, your family is sure to have some fun.

Join participating Half Price Books locations on Saturday night, July 30, to get the latest in the Harry Potter story. Celebrate with fellow Potterheads and grab the new book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child when it goes on sale at midnight. Passes available beginning at 10 p.m. Pass required for book purchase. Limit two passes per customer, one book per pass. Books available for purchase as specially-priced new items while supplies last. No pre-orders. Starting at 8pm on Saturday July 30, join this Barnes & Noble for a special Countdown to Midnight Party leading up to the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One & Two, a special rehearsal edition script book, which goes on sale 7/31 at midnight. The party will feature a special Muggle Wall where customers can share their favorite memories of Harry Potter as well as amazing giveaways and fun activities!

Celebrate the new book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Saturday July 30. Starting with a scavenger hunt at 2:00pm you will get to join your fellow Potterheads in celebrating the newest addition to the series. The main event starts at 9 pm. There will be trivia, face painting, crafts, and of course a costume contest. All ages are welcome! At 12:01am you will be able to purchase the book! So come on over to 2nd & Charles this Saturday night.

Calling all Harry Potter fans to Books & Company on Saturday July 30. Celebrate with a special countdown to the new book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One & Two. Starting at 2pm there will be a scavenger hunt, coloring, and other activities. The main event starts at 9pm with a costume contest and much more. When the clock strikes 12:01am, fans will be able to redeem their resale book, and if you didn’t purchase early you will get a chance to buy in store. All ages are welcome!
