“Pull” Together at Tab-a-PULL-ooza!
Does your family, school, or workplace collect pull tabs? Your collection can help keep families close to their hospitalized children! Bring your tab collection to the Tab-a-PULL-ooza pull-tab contest:
Saturday, May 21, 2016 | 8AM – 1PM
Second Street Market , 600 East Second St, Dayton
This family-friendly event is a great way to show children the benefits of both recycling and giving back to the community. Donations will be weighed and then poured into a large commercial dumpster allowing attendees to see the remarkable things that can happen when a community “pulls” together. Bring the family down for:
•A special appearance by Ronald McDonald
•Prizes awarded to top collectors in three categories: individual, group and school
•Hourly drawings for all participants
Pull tabs are taken to First Street Recycling to be recycled for their salvage value. The revenue generated from these pull tabs, along with pull tabs collected at the House throughout the year, generate approximately $16,000 for RMHC Dayton annually. These funds help RMHC continue to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of critically ill or injured hospitalized children. We hope to see you there!
