Lucas Bros Fall Fest offers a whole lot of fall fun for the entire family!
I have lived in the Greater Dayton area for almost 18 years and not once had I visited Lucas Bros Farm until today. I am so happy that we visited today because Lucas Bros Fall Fest will now be an annual fall tradition for my little family! Our daughter (almost 2) had an absolute blast! We arrived at 11am, right when they opened for the day, and stayed until 12:30. If you have a toddler, you should be super impressed with our stamina right now. But truly, our daughter was having so much fun, time flew by!
The first thing we did was stop into the barn to buy our tickets for the attractions. Parents, keep in mind that some elements of Fall Fest are completely free and other elements do have a fee. They do offer a “do-it-all” type package for those families that want to save a few bucks and take it all in! Not knowing how our little one would fair, we decided to buy a bounce house ticket and a cup of animal feed (only 25 cents) to start! We spent about 10 minutes feeding our new, furry friends and then the EPIC play structures caught her eye. Once she saw the wooden pirate ship and the firetruck – it was over! 🙂 She climbed up and down again and again.
The great thing for parents – these play structures are completely FREE for your kids to play on!
We were eventually able to coax her away from the wooden play structures and on to the other great attractions! We were so excited to learn that the bounce house ticket we purchased was good all day! For only $5, our daughter was able to bounce as much as she wanted – no cutting the kids off after just ten minutes of bouncing. Not only does the inflatable allow for open bounce, the structure also has an awesome slide! Next, we took her to try out the free Straw Maze. For parents of little ones, the straw maze was perfect! It was so cute to see our daughter try to navigate her way through the maze and she was definitely pleased with herself when she found the exit!
