Believe it or not, October is sadly coming to an end! Here are our family-friendly weekend top 5 things to do this in Dayton this weekend.

Visit us in Miamisburg at our working farm. Take a hayride through the farm and see the animals out in the pasture. Our fortunate riders will be able feed the cows right from the hay wagon. The hayrides last about 25 minutes Kids and adults will all enjoy the petting zoo, and make sure to say hi to Ricky the donkey. Kids will love the giant corn box, like a sand box but filled with corn! We hope you will come visit us this fall with your family.

This free event is open to all ages. The park paths will be lit with glowing Jack-O-Lanterns and activities will be located around the park. This year the meadow will come alive with a scarecrow display. Bring a flash light and dress for the weather. Costumes are welcome.

Bring your family and friends to enjoy Aullwood’s GLOW: Nature at Night on Experience Aullwood Farm lit up with glowing lights and adorn yourself with unique glow items such as hats, rings, necklaces or have fun brandishing your glow-in-the-dark sword! Thrill to fire and LED entertainers and laugh with Chris Rowlands as he sings new and old songs. Children of all ages will enjoy our special GLOW activities and games. Watch your beloved Enchanted Forest creatures as they share their life stories in fun and entertaining interactions inside the Farm Discovery Center. Grab a flashlight and follow a naturalist on a night hike to seek out illusive night creatures. Enjoy the cool fall evening as you roast hotdogs and marshmallows and make a s’more over a crackling fire, or indulge your taste buds by visiting a variety of local food trucks. You won’t want to miss GLOW!

Fun for the whole family! A new twist on an old tradition. Come and walk the new “Trail of Tricks and Treats”; local groups and businesses will have activity booths for you to discover on the winding trail in the Gooding Addition. Then check out the pumpkin patch for your perfect pumpkin to decorate at our decorating station on the patio. Come inside to listen to Spooky Tales by the Winters Library. Enjoy complimentary games, crafts, witch’s brew and fall family fun! Cost: Free.
